If you have been gasping to get hold of one of Victoria Beckham’s creations then calm down dear, they are now at Harvey Nichols and you can buy as many as you like.
The sister label of Victoria Beckham’s clothing ‘Victoria’ has finally landed in Harvey Nichols, so now we can all get our fix of Beckham chic. Victoria may not have had the best singing career but by golly her clothes have certainly taken off. Seen on many celebs such as Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, Julianne Moore and more recently Michelle Williams and Danielle Lineker, so if you want to aspire to your favourite A lister then head down to the Nicks pronto.
The clothing collection includes above the knee dresses that feature scalloped edges and quirky cat, cloud and moon motifs, which apparently have been inspired by the fairy-tale cartoon character, Emily The Strange, (no I haven’t heard of it either.)
Victoria Beckham said of her collection, “This new line serves to channel my inner girl – it is fun and young with a distinct sense of humour. The Victoria range can’t help but make you smile with its energy and personality.”
At £395 for a dress by the famous designer, it is a lot cheaper than shopping from her main line clothing range but some of us may still find that a little bit too expensive. However, it is pretty decent of Victoria to set out a more affordable range for us the proletarians! Victoria told Vogue.com, “It’s not a second line, or a diffusion line – it’s another line, another side to my wardrobe.
This is a way to give my customers what they want. They are really easy-to-wear day dresses. You can wear everything with heels, but you can wear them with flats as well. And they fit a lot of different people. Nothing’s tight: everything’s quite comfortable and roomy.”
The dresses as you can see are a mixture of plain block colours of red, black or cream and all feature the scalloped neck line and ruched out skirt at the bottom hem line. To find out more or to buy the dresses go to Harvey Nichols and search for Victoria.
