Valentines Day Gifts that make her go Ooh!

If you are one of a couple then you’ll be aware of what day is coming up in a couple of weeks. Oh yes, Valentines Day and whether you are one of those people who doesn’t buy into the whole commercial aspect of it or not, you won’t be able to get away with giving nothing on the special day. But this year, why not forgo the vapid sentiments so present in every Hallmark card you see on the shelf, leave the red roses lying incumbent next to the coal and firelighters outside on the garage forecourt, and save the chocolates for when you’re really in trouble. This time, why not think about your partner and really surprise them with a thoughtful gift? I know! Shocking. But hang on, you’ve been with them since the time you first met so try it. You never know, you might be just a little bit delighted with the reaction. To help you on your quest, we’ve unselfishly thought about what we would like to receive. Here goes:

Juliette Has A Gun ‘Romantina’ Eau de Parfum 100 ml- $122.54

Now if you are going to buy perfume, make sure it is something edgy like this, but can you explain to me what on earth the blurb is on about? “A musky composition on which we would have delicately laid a bouquet of white flowers. Romantina is a ode to insouciance. But when she suddenly reveals its true personality, it flirts with patchouli almost giving it a hint of chypré.” And check out the spelling errors on the shopping page! Outrageous! Main ingredients: Musk, orange blossom, Vanilla from Madagascar. Buy from colette.fr.

Trust me, she’ll love this bracelet. How do I know? ‘Cause I want one! Bells, berries, beads, and bombay! Venessa Arizaga’s neck and arm candy is an explosion of indian-inspired colors and crystals this season. It’s a trippy-hippie journey around maharajah’s palaces, markets, and temples, with rhinestones that sparkle like an emperor’s jewels, and beads that glisten like bindis, all interwoven on a treasure trove of gold, emerald, and ruby-hued yarns.
