UK Organic Kids Hair Brand Dubble Trubble launches in US

It’s the UK organic hair brand, backed by the Princes Trust that is set to take the US by storm. Dubble Trubble, launched by celebrity hair colorist Daniel Galvin Jr, has created a range of five perfectly pH balanced Hair & Body washes and a Detangling mist, all of which use organic botanical ingredients.

The hair products do not contain any parabens, SLS, mineral oils or animal ingredients, and have been created with the extensive knowledge of Galvin’s research into the organic industry. In fact, Galvin began thinking about creating a completely organic range of hair products for children, after his own son was born.

He says: “I was always interested in what went in to baby shampoos, so in 2000, after my son was born, I began my research into ingredients in bathroom beauty products. The chemicals in haircare products today can ‘charge–up’ kids the same way sugar and junk foods can and 60% of synthetic ingredients are easily absorbed into the skin, so you can only imagine the harm it causes to children in the long run. Their delicate skins can be stripped of oil and children can often develop asthma or eczema.”

Galvin realised he wasn’t the only parent worried about the effect of chemicals on childrens’ delicate skin and hair, and set about developing a range of organic products that were completely natural, but were inexpensive and affordable.

Studies have shown that using non-organic health and hair products on children can lead to minor skin ailments at best and even a number of cancers at worst. And it is surprising the amount of harmful chemicals that are contained within childrens’ hair products, when you consider that products are absorbed into your child’s body, via the scalp or skin, and can build up causing potential health issues.

All the ingredients contained with the Dubble Trubble range are organic and biodegradable, which means that not only are they good and safe for your child, but they are also safe for the environment and can be disposed of easily.

And not only that, but sales of the Dubble Trubble hair products will help to raise money for The Prince’s Trust, with an estimated £25,000 already raised from the first 12 months of launching the products.
