Acne is a very common skin condition which is quite embarrassing. There a lot of people around the world who face this problem. Acne usually targets teenagers. However, you may also find adults with the same problem. Acne damages the skin leaving scars and marks behind that look very awful. As a result of this, every other person wants to get it cured. There are a lot of ways in which you can get acne cured and thus get a flawless skin. Most of the people prefer going to a dermatologist and taking the prescribed medications. However, I feel the best way in which you can solve this awful problem is treating it through natural remedies. Natural remedies can not only be just as effective as medications, but sometimes they can also be more powerful. Moreover, you will not have to take the pains of going and visiting the doctor. So, it would be much better if you take the natural route.

Pimples sometimes occur because the body does not get the sufficient amount of nutrition it requires. Thus, nourishing your body with a proper balanced diet is all it takes. And so, foods that are rich in zinc can be consumed because zinc is an anti-bacterial agent which helps prevents breakouts. Sometimes, taking vitamin A and vitamin C supplements in your food can help you a lot, too. Or probably, even a diet rich in chromium can heal infections of the skin quickly. Acne also occurs if the skin is not taken proper of. And so, it is necessary that you protect your skin from dust and the harmful rays of the sun. The easiest way is to wash your face regularly and apply sunscreen lotions with SPF 30 before going out. You can also use acne soap or probably wash your face with hydrogen peroxide water. Applying yoghurt or honey while washing can also help heal blemishes.

Acne is the result of the excess oil that gets clogged in the pores of your skin. So, it would be better to avoid eating foods that are too oily. You can wash your face with warm water and then rinse it with cold water or ice cubes as this will help clean your clogged pores. Using too many make up products can also be harmful to your skin as they clog pores and cause more pimples and blackheads. So make sure that if you are using make up products, use those which are water-based. Most of the people squeeze and scratch their pimples and blackheads, without realizing that such actions increase the sebum production and damage the membranes below the skin.

This not only proves to be harmful for the skin but it also leads to more and more pimples. This is the reason why you are advised not to touch the infected skin. Hence, the best way to deal with scars and blemishes that acne leaves behind is just to let them heal by themselves. However, to make the healing process quicker, you can also use a disinfectant or an anti-scar lotion over the area. Another option can be using the anti-allergy Neosporin powder which is available in markets nowadays. There are other remedies as well which can help reduce acne. Some of them include applying a paste of orange peels or fenugreek paste as it helps cure pimples. Using lemon directly or in the form of juice has also proved effective. Drinking a lot of water or at least 1 litre of water daily is also a good remedy. An interesting discovery which has been made recently proves that a serum secreted by the immune response of the brown garden snail has a lot of regenerative properties. And so, it is effective in treating acne. As a result of this, there are a lot of organic acne creams coming up in the market that contain this serum.

All these above mentioned natural remedies can help your skin a great deal. But, in spite of all these, if you don’t feel like going the natural way, there are a lot of medications out there that your dermatologist may ask you to go for. They can also prove to be very effective. What is most important when it comes to acne is, whether you go the natural way or not, you must immediately get it treated before it worsens. After all, it is all about your face and you have the right to have a lovely, glowing and spotless skin.
