The Rise of the Maxi Skirt

Maxi Skirts

To be honest, I never really got the appeal of wearing maxi dresses. I mean, it’s all very well if you are swanning about on holiday in the Bahamas and you want something to wear that makes you feel in a holiday mood, but wearing them down your local high street? Whenever I saw ladies wearing them it reminded me of those Hawaiian shirts you’d wear on holiday that you’d never dream of popping on back home. Always looked a bit incongruous to me, but the maxi skirt, now that’s a different matter altogether, and I’m not even sure why! The Rise of the Maxi Skirt 1
