Here at Shoppersbase we pride ourselves on always spotting a winning frock, and our predictions turned out to be true, when we watched the gorgeous Tess Daly, step out in that iconic Stella McCartney gown, featured on this website a few weeks ago. Predicting it would be a best seller and favourite of the celebrities was not as tricky as you’d think, as Kate Moss had already donned the shorter mini version when the collection first came out.
But it takes a statuesque beauty like Tess, to be able to pull off this daringly simple, classy but sexy look. And pull it off she did. Looking as glamourous as Bruce looked dapper, the cut away sides showed just enough flesh for an early Saturday night programme, but was demure enough to satisfy the watershed watchers.
Tess teamed the dress with a golden metallic look belt that cinched in her tiny waist, and kept the accessories simple with a pair of golf hooped earrings.
But for those of you who were not watching Strictly for the frocks, here’s who was partnered with whom, if you missed the programme.
Colin Salmon – Kristina Rihanoff
Dani Harmer – Vincent Simone
Denise Van Outen – James Jordan
Fern Britton – Artem Chigventsev
Jerry Hall – Anton du Beke
Johnny Ball – Aliona Vilani
Kimberley Walsh – Pasha Kovalev
Lisa Riley – Robin Windsor
Louis Smith – Flavia Cacace
Michael Vaughan – Natalie Lowe
Nicky Bryne – Karen Hauer
Richard Arnold – Erin Boag
Sid Owen – Ola Jordan
Victoria Pendleton – Brendan Cole
