This is a gorgeously light dessert that is perfect if you want something refreshing after a heavy meal. The lemon semifreddo contains a swirl of raspberry coulis and a topping of raspberries and salted pistachios. Enough for four portions.
Aldi Specially Selected Croquembouche – £4.99
This is a real showstopper and fun to put together so you could get the kids involved. There is a cardboard tower and once the choux buns have been defrosted (takes an hour) you arrange them around the tower. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and prepare for the compliments.

This looks homemade and you could easily say you made it. You’ve got lovely layers of soft and crunchy meringue with fresh cream and raspberries topped with chopped pistachios.

Cheesecake doesn’t have to be a boring as this salted caramel one shows. Lovely Madagascan vanilla cheesecake on a crunchy base with a sunken salted caramel centre, filled with malt balls covered in milk chocolate and honeycomb.
Marks & Spencer The Collection Melting Belgian Chocolate & Toffee Sponge Pudding, 650g – £15
This is one dessert that will definitely wow your guests as it includes some showmanship. You get a deliciously rich Belgian chocolate sponge, complete with chocolate chips which has a chocolate dome over it. You pour the toffee sauce over it and the dome slowly melts, covering the pudding.
