The daughter of Formula One’s billionaire Bernie Ecclestone probably doesn’t need to earn her own living, but Tamara Ecclestone has decided to launch her very own beauty range, called Show Beauty anyway.
The Show Beauty collection will be stocked exclusively for six weeks at Harvey Nichols stores, and then will be available to buy in Harrods and all Selfridges stores across the UK.
Show Beauty has been described as ‘a new super-luxe beauty and lifestyle brand’, but it seems that only certain people will be able to afford the new range.
The trouble is, the British socialite is herself worth an estimated £300m, and lives in a £45m Kensington mansion and as such, has priced her new beauty range out of many people’s pockets.
With items such as volumising mousse and dry shampoo costing £30 a piece, hair fragrance at £55 and thickening lotion and volume lotion at £40, this collection is definitely not for those looking for a bargain.
There are eleven products in the range, which feature hair styling and finishing items, including hair oil and thickening mist. The packaging is typically luxurious, with silver, gold and black bottles topped with golden studded tops, and each product includes the fragrance of the brand, which permeates the throughout the beauty range, and was developed by Givaudan – the same people who created Dior’s Poison, Thierry Mugler’s Angel and Marc Jacobs’ Lola.
Scott Harvey-Nicholls CEO of Romelle Swire said: ‘SHOW Beauty was conceptualised to offer people a unique and opulent experience, superior to anything they have tried before.’
Debbie Jones, Buyer at Harvey Nichols added: ‘The launch of SHOW Beauty’s hair care concept is an exciting innovation for the industry and we were excited to see the range of products on offer and the intricate detail that has been dedicated to each part of the collection to ensure it’s in keeping the brand ethos.
‘Harvey Nichols prides itself on offering its customers authentic and credible products and we’re looking forward to seeing the reaction when it hits the shelves.’
Ms Ecclestone has also been busy planning her wedding to boyfriend Jay Rutland, a mere three months after dating. She is reported to be house hunting in LA, and was seen recently viewing a mansion, priced at an estimated $99 million mansion, which was built on the former estate where Walt Disney used to live.
Ms Ecclestone is expected to get married to her boyfriend in the South of France, at the legendary resort of Antibes, at the Hotel Du Cap, and it will no doubt be a lavish occasion.
Guests will include Prince Andrew’s ex-wife the Duchess of York, her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie and American socialite Paris Hilton, and the entertainment is thought to be provided by none other than Jennifer Lopez, Lionel Richie and DJ Calvin Harris.
Show Beauty is available at Harvey Nicols and then Selfridges and Harrods.
