She was the girl-next-door from Bristol that went on to win the nations hearts, and the series heartthrob JohnJames, and become the eventual winner of the reality series Big Brother. We are talking about Josie Gibson, the blonde bombshell, who never let her weight get in the way of having fun, and we all loved her for it.
But since the reality show has ended, Josie has been on a bit of a personal journey herself, and has worked hard to shift the weight, losing an incredible 4 stone, dropping from a dress size 20 to a super slim 8, in just over six months.
And it has paid off, as not only has it enabled her to launch her very own DVD – 30 Second Slim, which shows exactly how she lost the weight, but fashion brand Goddiva were so impressed with her new look and fun personality, that they approached her and asked her if she wanted to not only model a new collection, but have a hand in designing the clothes too.
The 28-year-old reality star was approached by Goddiva, as they wanted to incorporate Josie’s fun loving, girlie, flirty character into the design of the new collection.
Josie agreed and the collection, which is called Josie Gibson for Goddiva collection, is a brand new collection of glamorous evening-wear for ladies of all shapes and sizes. The collection includes super slimming glamourous frocks for daytime and evening wear, gorgeous lace trimmed bodycon dresses, ruched maxi frocks and monochrome outfits for any occasion.
Josie is not the first reality star to showcase a collection for Goddiva, Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson, has modeled two collections for the online retailer and both were huge success, with much of the stock selling out. And with all the attention on Josie’s new figure, and the general love surrounding our favourite BB star, it is thought that her new collection will be a great success for her as well.
Josie’s collection for Goddiva will be available to buy online from February 25 2013 and prices range from £42 to £55, so this is not an expensive range.
The dresses we have seen so far include a fitted bright green frock, with cut out features, a monochrome bodycon dress with cream background and black cut in lace panels, a black maxi dress, with ruched front and revealing cleavage, a black and white one shouldered fitted frock, a zebra print dress with a nude panel across the chest, a black bodycon dress with metallic embellishments, and a black and nude cut out dress.
Fans of Josies will also get the chance to interact with the reality queen as the online retailer plans to offer online competitions and giveaways, as well as providing weekly style advice, creating online links between her own website and Goddiva’s.
