Summer Denim – How to wear the trend

Now that the evenings are getting longer and the days are starting to warm up at last, thoughts are turning to revamping our wardrobes, and we should be thinking about our spring and summer styles. It is relatively easy to choose tops and dresses for the warmer months, but jeans and denim are a little harder. Do we stick to the darker denim colours for instance? Is a longer denim length still okay or should we plump for calf or shorter denims?

The general rule is lighter and shorter denim but patterned can also be incorporated, so if you have a longer boot cut pair of patterned jeans that have seen you through the winter months, team them with a bright and lighter hued blouse or t-shirt to lighten up the outfit.
