Online retailer WAE+ has launched a pilot to provide Birmingham businesses with free next-day delivery on a range of 5,000 in-stock items.
The thriving Witton based business is on course to achieve a £9 million turnover in its second year of operation and has now invested in a branded van to make the next-day deliveries.
The service is available to customers within a 6.5 mile radius of WAE+’s distribution centre and this delivery area includes Sutton Coldfield, Acocks Green, Oldbury and Walsall.
With a wide range of in-stock office supplies from leading brands, WAE+ is hoping that the initiative will help the retailer to expand its footprint in the local area.

The local delivery offer follows the recent announcement of the launch of WAE+’s new B2B team and the appointment of two account managers to service WAE+ business customers.
The pilot will run for two months and, dependent on its success, will be rolled out to other areas in the future.
WAE+’s online ordering system will offer the delivery option based on the customer’s postcode when their order is placed.
Orders will be accepted up to 3pm for next day delivery.
