Roberto Cavalli has launched a new fragrance for 2012, simply named Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum. It has been especially created for women who simply want to be noticed and who prefer to wear Cavalli iconic animal print dresses. According to the press releases, this is a perfume for those women who want to ‘capture the attention of those around you, the moment you walk into a room’. The new fragrance is for women who never go unnoticed. It is sexy and sophisticated, the scent being an intense oriental floral trailed by notes of orange blossom for a breath of pure glamour and charisma. It symbolises Italian femininity, sensuality and extravagance. There are also ambery – oriental nuances of benzoin, pink pepper, tonka and vanilla.
The perfume was the creation of Louise Turner, perfumer at Givaudan, who says that the new Robert Cavalli signature fragrance is an entrancing mix of ideas and impulses. Top notes of pink peppercorns glide into a heart of orange blossom to mesmerise from the very first moment. Fronting the campaign for the scent is model and Italian actress Elisa Sednaoui who encapsulates the wild, yet glamourous and chic essence of this new Eau De Parfum. The bottle is round-topped with a tiara shaped stopper containing the designer’s initials and the solid glass base envokes the strength and the power of its character.
