The rumour is that Leonardo Di Caprio is dating American Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and we can see why! In a very short amount of time the actress has lost a stone in weight and dropped 2 dress sizes.
The 5ft 10” tall 23-year-old is now a size 8 and attributes this amazing loss to her trainer Bobby Strom.
Blake Lively has appeared in America’s the Gossip Girl since 2007 and from then has gone on to star in such films as The Town, directed and written by Ben Affleck and more recently in the Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds. So what was her secret and is the diet an easy to maintain one?
Her trainer appears to think so and we have listed the main tips below.
- Cut out huge meals and eat little and often. By having five small high protein meals a day, you are never hungry and your stomach will shrink and your metabolism will always be at its best.
- If you want a piece of chocolate have a piece, but just a few bites. This will satisfy the craving so you are less likely to binge and feel that you are missing out on your favourite foods, keeping you motivated.
- Start exercising, even if it is a little each day but mix up routines so that you do not get bored. So, one day go swimming, another day have a workout, the next day go for a power walk. Keep it fun.
- Swap empty calories in fizzy drinks for water, green tea or juice and change sugary snacks for high protein shakes that will give you long lasting energy.
- Eat a healthy diet and include low fat protein such turkey, fish and add plenty of vegetables and salad to keep your energy levels up.
By making a few simple changes in your diet and routine it seems that Blake now has the body to die for and Leonardo agrees. Perhaps if we follow these tips we can bag ourselves a superstar figure and an A list actor to boot!
