L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream awarded Best Anti-Ageing Cream 2013

There are some accolades that every beauty brand wants to win, and the Harper’s Bazaar Best Anti-Ageing Cream is certainly one of them. But when French cosmetics company L’Occitane were named in 2013 Harper’s Bazaar “Beauty Hot 100 list” as having the top anti-ageing cream, it came as no surprise to the thousands of women that actually use the cream.

With online reviewers positively raving about the Divine Cream, commenting on how it now only refines larger pores, but reduces redness and eliminates fine lines and wrinkles.

cremeSo what is so special about this cream and why are women flocking to buy a tub, despite the hefty price of £72 for a 50ml jar?

L’Occitane say that the Divine Cream ‘acts at the heart of cells to visibly correct all signs of ageing, for beautiful, younger-looking skin’. And with five patents pending, they are certainly keen to protect their magic formula.

The Immortelle Divine Cream features a luxurious formula, containing organic Immortelle and myrtle essential oils, both which combine to actually stimulate collagen production and also help to boost the skin’s microcirculation.

And it’s the powerful ingredient of the Immortelle plant that L’Occitane have exclusively cultivated on the Mediterranean island of Corsica. L’Occitane discovered the plants’ magical anti-ageing properties over a decade ago, and it is called Immortelle because the flowers never fade, even after picking.

L’Occitane now use the essential oil extracted from the Immortelle flower, for several of their anti-ageing products, including their Precious, Divine and Brightening ranges of face care products.

The Immortelle flowers bloom in the month of June and are harvested soon afterwards, where the flower water and the essential oil, complete with their anti-aging properties are extracted and used in L’Occitane products.

The benefits of using L’Occitane’s Immortelle Divine Cream are that they:

  • Help to maintain skin’s youthful appearance and its potential for regeneration
  • Intensely nourishes and visibly reduces wrinkles
  • Gives skin a firmer texture and restores elasticity for more shapely facial contours
  • Helps redefine and restructure the natural profile of the face
  • Helps visibly reduce the colour intensity of dark spots

divineAnd those ladies who have tried the cream are delighted with the smooth texture and they way it instantly melts into their skin. Plus you only need a pearl sized dab of the cream for one application, so although the cream is a tad on the pricy side, it will last you.
