Lego Minotaurus: The Game Your Whole Family Can Play

These days it is harder than you think to find a game that both adults and children can play without either of them getting bored. Some games are just too childish for an adults attention span and vice versa. How many times have you gone to take out what you have thought is a favorite game for your whole family to play to be met with groans and “Oh no not that one!” Didn’t you wish there was a game your family could play that everyone would enjoy? Well now you can as Minotaurus is different. Minotaurus is one of the world’s first collection of games that you build, play and change as you go along and Lego has several that are right up there in the top ten of childrens favorites. The difference with these sort of games is that you have to build the structure on which you play first, and this can take anything from 20 minutes to 40 minutes, then you have a unique buildable LEGO Dice and changeable rules.

Included in the Lego Minotaurus Game are:

  • 1 buildable LEGO® Dice
  • 12 LEGO microfigures
  • 1 building instruction booklet
  • 1 rule booklet

Lego Minotaurus has also won the following awards:

  • National Parenting Seal of Approval
  • Oppenheim Toy Portfolio’s Platinum Seal
  • Creative Child’s 2010 Preferred Choice Award

Once you have built the underlying structure, the base of the game, then you can actually start playing. So, you can either let your children make the layout of the game, or, if it is too difficult (there are instructions in the box or downloadable ones) you can help them. When you have finished this task, you have the challenge of playing the game. There is a monster called the mighty Minotaur, who is a mythical creature and it is his job to protect a secret temple which is hidden deep inside a labyrinth. You have to be the first to lead your heroes to the temple, and avoid the Minotaur at the same time. During this, you also have to cleverly block your opponents by placing walls in front of them. You are given clear and simple rules which make this game great fun for the whole family. The game is for 2 to 4 players, is for 7+ years old, costs $24.99 and game play lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.
