Back in February the two Jenner sisters launched a capsule collection with Neiman Marcus that was a huge sell-out success.
Their introductory range included classical pieces that were neutrally toned and could be mixed and matched throughout the collection.
There were gorgeous daytime separates that featured gingham prints, denim jackets with wrap-around ties, leather jackets with a distressed, worn in look, two-piece body-con pieces, leather dresses and also footwear.
The Kylie and Kendall first collection was priced $68 to $298, with shoes costing $100 to $200.
“This is such an exciting time for us. We’ve grown a lot in our tastes and point of view and it feels amazing being able to express that in a more sophisticated collection,” Kendall said in a statement.
“This line is a true reflection of our evolving love of fashion.”
Kylie agreed: “It has been both of our dreams to be able to share our inspiration with our fans. There’s a lot of range—outfits you can wear every day, night-time looks and some surprise statement pieces as well.”
Apparently the sisters got their inspiration for their first collection after watching stylish women in airports travelling in New York, Paris, and Dubai.
They have now released their second collection and word is that it is even more mature than their first.
With the emphasis on high quality and flexibility, the sisters have pulled out all the stops on using the best materials to create unique pieces that work in any situation:
“We wanted to widen our range of customers by introducing a more premium clothing line,” Kendall says in a statement. “We incorporated a lot of sophisticated and versatile pieces that were simple yet chic.”
In this collection you’ll find shirts made from Chinese hammered silk, jackets made from Italian leather, and dresses made from Turkish jacquard.
“We paid a lot of attention to the fabrics and silhouettes,” Kylie says.
“The collection is sophisticated, clean, and beautifully tailored,” her older sister added.
Using more expensive fabrics has led to an increase in the collection’s prices, as items range from $200 to $1,000.
The collection is a limited edition however, and we think that some of the pieces may end up on certain auction sites and go for much more than their retail value.
Perhaps the sisters took inspiration from their mom, Kris Jenner, who announced earlier this year to release her very own jewellery line.
The Kendall +Kylie Collection is available at NeimanMarcus.com, shop.Nordstrom.com, SaksFifthAvenue.com, Shopbop.com, and Revolve.com on April 7.
