The Kardashians are back, and it seems that the influence of Kim’s boyfriend #Kanye West could have had a beneficial impact. The sisters new Kollection has moved from Dorothy Perkins to the exclusive celebrity brand Lipsy, and gone are the dated bodycon dresses, the awful animal prints, the over the top accessories. Now we have a collection that targets each of the girls individual style, and shot by famed and controversial photographer Terry Richardson.
A spokesperson for Lipsy commented on the arrival of Kardashian Kollection: “With a reputation for distinctive, fashion-forward womenswear design, Lipsy provided the perfect retail partner for Kourtney, Kim and Khloé who have become worldwide entities, recognised for their signature style and desirable wardrobes.”
The new Kardashian Kollection aims to showcase Kourtney’s eclectic taste, embrace Kim’s glamorous vibe and reveal Khloe’s edgy style, with pieces that include sexy red lace dresses, halter neck jumpsuits and fabulous feather jackets.
The clothing range is priced from £30 to £150, so it is a little bit more expensive than their previous collection with Dorothy Perkins, but we think that this is a much more grown-up and stylish set of clothes.
Kourtney spoke about the new collection and said: “Kim, Khloé and I are always looking for new ways to keep our collection unique, and give our fans around the world fashion-forward pieces.” And sister Khloe added: “Whether you are rocking the feathered jacket or one of the leather dresses, there are a million ways to style these pieces, all uniquely stylish.”
One lady, who has had a pretty busy year, Kim, showed off her toned post baby figure, and said: “The collection is inspired by the stylish women from around the world that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. This is for those Lipsy girls who have as much fun with fashion as I do.”
This was Kim’s first photo-shoot since the birth of her baby North West back in June, and she looked stunning in a series of tight-fitting bodycon dresses and jumpsuits.
And for those who loved the leopard print on the sisters last collection, there are still a few pieces that feature this pattern, as Khloe advises: “The leopard pencil skirt is a MUST. It’s a wardrobe staple that will work season on season.”
The campaign for the new collection was shot by the same photographer, Terry Richardson, who recently was criticised for the controversial Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball video.
There is no such controversy in the Kardashians pictures, with a black backdrop and subtle accessories, we think that this could be their most successful campaign yet.
The new 40 piece collection will be available from October 24th at Lipsy, and later on in the year from Next.co.uk, House of Fraser and Very.co.uk.
