I don’t know about you but there is one thing that always heralds the start of autumn for me; is it the changing colours of the leaves, the smell of a bonfire, the darkening evenings? No, it’s the return of Strictly Come Dancing of course! And with much speculation about who is starring in this years show I can finally reveal the possible, rumoured, most likely line up for 2011.
Lulu – our most favourite 60′s pop star whose recent media exposure has been advertising for Morrisons, we think this is far more up her street.
Harry Judd – the hunky drummer from McFly. Already Harry is the bookies favourite (well he is my favourite) to win this years series as his performance for Children In Need shows his natural moves on the dance floor.
Jason Donovan – everyone loves this Neighbours star, heartthrob of the 80’s, former drug addict and stage show performer. He is bound to win the mums vote.
Dan Lobb– the presenter on Daybreak on a Friday, but I am never up this early to watch it so I have no clue who he is. I’m sure he’ll be great.
Holly Valance – will there be fisticuffs between her and her fellow Neighbours star Jason? We hope so as it all adds to the drama!
Robbie Savage – is an award-winning radio presenter and former Welsh professional footballer and is keen to take part in the dance competition, because he thinks he can be the first football playing star to win.
Chelsee Healey – sorry Chelsee but I had to Google you to find out who you are. For my readers she is an actress who used to star in Waterloo Road.
Rory Bremner – best known for his impressions of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, perhaps we’ll see some dance routines with Tony!
Russell Grant – our lovely friendly astrologer has probably predicted that he will not win this series but well done for taking part!
Anita Dobson – now the wife of Brian’s May, she is best known for playing Dirty Den’s missus Angie and getting the divorce papers over Christmas dinner.
Nancy Dell’Olio – now what is this lady famous for? Oh yes, Sven Goran Erikkson, didn’t he lose us the World Cup that time?
Edwina Currie – no egg jokes please as our new version of Anne Widdecombe takes to the stage, do you reckon Anton will get her?
Audley Harrison – is going to need a tall professional partner as he stands 6ft 5” in bare feet! Think we’ll love this professional boxer with a huge six pack!
Alex Jones – she looks like Christine Bleakley but she isn’t and she hasn’t dated Frank but she did go out with Steve Jones. More used to presenting then starring, she could be one to watch!
