They are snuggly, warm, easy to wear and downright indulgent! We are of course talking about the onesie, the all-in-one jump suit that is the most coveted fashion item. Celebrities all over the globe are covering up this winter and on ITV’s This Morning show, Holly Willoughby popped one on live TV. The 31 year old mum of two donned the red and black onesie to give her support for the Blue Peter’s Go Pyjamas campaign for Children In Need. Younger viewers of Blue Peter had been invited to help raise money for Children in Need by wearing their pyjamas over their clothes whatever they were doing.
Holly was asked if she would wear a onesie and as soon as she agreed, the hunt was on to find one before the programme finished broadcasting. Luckily, a pretty red and black LadyBird number onesie was found in the building as the very fabulous and generous All In One Company had previously donated a whopping 63 onesies to the Blue Peter campaign.
Holly proudly showed it off while presenting This Morning and in doing so was given her very first Blue Peter badge. The All in One Company’s onesies last week featured in a successful attempt by Blue Peter to break the record for the most people in an over and under competition, better yet, in their pyjamas. This was all part of their Go Pyjamas Campaign for Children In Need. The campaign managed to get a grand total of 304 people wearing their pyjamas! The onesies are now being donated to Children In Need.
The silver fox of day time TV and co presenter Phillip Schofield also got involved by wearing a giant fluffy pair of slippers.
Children In Need starts this Friday at 7pm.
