Gentlemen: How to travel in style

Does your man still think that the socks/sandals combo is a foolproof fashion must-have? Or is he one of those guys who dons the ubiquitous Hawaiian shirt before he steps onto the plane?

Or are you simply a gentleman who hasn’t a clue about what to wear when you are traveling, and would like a few tips on how to look and feel more stylish and comfortable? Well look no further, as us ladies have been pulling off the jet set traveler look for decades, and we are more than pleased that you asked!

There are a few basic rules to stylish traveling for guys: keep it relaxed and casual by teaming block coloured tee-shirts with unbuttoned short sleeved patterned shirts. If long sleeved, roll up those cuffs and this goes for the hems on your shorts too. Trousers we say opt for lightweight chinos and shoes, no grubby sandals but a pair of smart plimsolls or canvas boat shoes will do nicely. As for colours, choose subtle colour clashes with patterns on the shirt picking out the block colour on the tee-shirt.

And if you are still struggling, check out our hot picks below, to give you more of an idea:
