If there was anything that would inspire Kate Middleton to lose the post baby weight, it must be this fabulous new collection from her favourite Canadian designer Erdem Moralioglu. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing a couple of his creations whilst she and her husband, Prince William visited Canada last year, and it earned her a few brownie points with the Canadian citizens.
Not that the famed designer needs any Royal endorsements of course, he is highly esteemed within the fashion world for the way he mixes his ultra-modern take with a pure feminine form and structured silhouettes. For his new collection, the designer said he was inspired by: “I was inspired by director Nagisa Oshima and his saturation of color in his 1965 film, Pleasures of the Flesh.” And saturation of colour is certainly an understatement, as bright neon pinks compete with eye watering yellows and electric blues. There are some more refined and elegant pieces however, in his silk creations which take on a more subtle palette, but whichever you prefer, you are in good company as not only does the Duchess of Cambridge favour his work, but so also do Sarah Jessica Parker and Ashley Olsen.
Here are his best creations:
