Lait-Crème Concentré – Celebrity favourite £20 French anti-ageing cream now in UK

Lait-Crème Concentré – The Miracle Moisturiser

French brand Embryolisse manufacture Lait-Crème Concentré, costs a mere £20 for 75ml and has been dubbed a ‘miracle moisturiser’ from celebrities as they swear by its anti-ageing properties.

The moisturiser is now available in Boots but current stocks are expected to sell out, as UK stars such as Simon Cowell and Yasmin Le Bon are also supposed to be fans of the product.

Previously, Lait-Crème Concentré was only available in French pharmacies, specialist sites or online, but now UK customers can get hold of the affordable brand that is so beloved of the stars.

They’d better be quick though, because apparently one tube of the cream sells every 60 seconds in the world, and now that word has got out in the UK, stocks at Boots are not expected to last for long.

Experts in industry name the product as one of the ‘best kept secrets among models make-up artists.’

Make-up artist Julia Carta, who in the past has worked with Keira Knightley, Ben Affleck and Matthew McConaughey and is currently the personal make-up specialist to Simon Cowell’s, said that it gives the skin ‘immediate plump and glow’.

She added: “I’m sure people will go crazy for Embryolisse, they are going to be queuing round the block for it.”

Reason for Embryolisse success

The reason the product is such as hit with industry experts is that it cannot only be used as a moisturiser, but is described as a 6in1 multi-tasker, with uses such as as a make-up remover, primer, aftershave blam or a repair mask. You can also use it on children’s skin too. Which explains why the brand decided to name the product Embryolisse as it translate to ‘baby’s bottom’.

It is extremely difficult to get an anti-ageing product on the shelves of any High Street retailer, but Boots decided to stock Lait-Crème Concentré after a conference two years ago, in which they invited 100 of the world’s leading make-up artists and beauty experts to talk about their favourite products that were not stocked in their stores.

Time and time again the product Embryolisse came up as a most wanted brand that was not available in stores, but all the experts wanted, so Boots went ahead and decided to take a chance and stock it.

Joe Mitchell, of Boots, said: ‘It’s already an international bestseller, and we know customers are searching for it on boots.com, so we’re delighted to bring it to the UK high street as part of our exclusive range of beauty finds from around the world.’

According to the blurb on the Boots website, the product is suitable for all skin types and contains only natural ingredients which provide the skin with all it needs for balance and cell renewal.

We’ve checked the Boots website and so far the 30ml, costing £13 and the 75ml at £22 has sold out.
