The Best Bronzers for Every Skin Tone

The Best Bronzers for Every Skin Tone

Finding a bronzer for your specific skin tone can be a little daunting, especially if you are not used to applying it in the first place. It is probably therefore prudent to have a quick lesson on application before we go any further.

Bronzers are meant to look as if the sun has kissed you, highlighting your natural bone structure, as if you have been sitting in the sun and naturally caught its rays. It is not supposed to make you look like a bronzed goddess.

When choosing a bronzer, never go for one that is more than a shade darker than your own skin tone.

Pale skins should avoid reds or browns and stick to peach or rose colours.

When applying, use a large, fluffy brush and tap lightly into the product. Dust off any excess and think of where the sun would naturally hit your face and body.

Any angles, such as your cheek bones, nose, chin and forehead should be lightly dusted with bronzer. As for the body, shoulder blades, the cleavage, tops of the arms are all great spots for applying bronzer.

Now you have a good idea of where to apply it, here’s the products you should be buying for your particular skin tones:
