New alternative to face-lift revealed by 3D-skinmed

3D-HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)

The high intensity focused ultrasound is an acoustic energy that causes thermal coagulation zones in three different depths. These have been already specially selected. Once the treatment has been applied, the area begins to heal, which causes a wound response, resulting in new collagen to form. It is this new collagen that provides the longer term tightening of the skin.

As far as results and appearance goes, the patient should notice an improvement in the facial contouring, with fading of fine lines and wrinkles within a 4 week period. There will be further improvement in facial skin tightening and wrinkles seen up to 6 weeks.

There is no recovery required as this is a non-invasive procedure.

3D and RF

Using RF technology, this session utilises multi polar/electrodes in order to deliver RF energy into skin. This Focus Fractional RF energy enters the skin layers and starts to heat selective skin layers where the extra cellular matrix where the collagen fibres are embedded.

Once this process is started, the response of the skin cells is to contract and shrink to the heat. The heat also causes an increase of the metabolic rate of the fibroblasts. This is what accelerates production of new collagen and elastin fibres.

As this concentration of collagen fibres and the regeneration of the collagen and elastin deposits grows, the skin layers appear tighter, smoother and younger looking.

3D Impact

The last of these technologies is the acoustic waves of the ultrasound. This creates a pressure, giving any cosmeceutical products much greater mobility and reactivity, and therefore increasing the amount that enters the skin where it is needed most. This increases the effectiveness of the product.
