The Sony eBook Reader PRS-505 is quite popular, especially to people who have always been a fan of Sony’s electronic products.  The device is designed to look like most Sony computers and laptops and come in two elegant colors – blue and silver.  The screen display is of high quality because of its high-resolution.  It also displays in color so you will be able to appreciate books that have colored pictures and illustrations.  It is also easy to read using this device as you can adjust the size of the text through changing the font size.  You can also read your personal documents in PDF formats as this is a supported file format.

The Sony eBook Reader PRS-505 also have other features such as being able to play MP3 files so you can listen to music while you read.  It can also play audio books so you can listen to your books even if you tire of reading them.  The battery life is also excellent as it can last for a very long time, even with daily use.  You can also buy e-books from the Sony online store to load up to your reading device, so it is quite easy to look for titles that you want to read.

One drawback of this reader is that it does not have any support for Mac laptops and computers as of the moment as it does not have a compatible software that can accommodate it.  This e-book reader is also more expensive than Amazon’s reading device Kindle, but this is to be expected as the quality is top-notch, as to be expected from one of the leading electronics company in the world.  There are also other reading devices from different companies such as Barnes and Noble’s Nook, Apple’s iPad, Entourage Edge, iRex Iliad and many more, but the Sony eBook Reader PRS-505 is the leader of the pack when it comes to quality and design.
