Cheryl Cole Designs Killer Heel Shoes You Can Walk In!
It is not surprising that the petite princess of pop – Cheryl Cole has to walk in stiletto heels and she has previously boasted that she can wear shoes with heels of any height. But for the majority of us, wearing killer heels means a painful end to the night out. With this in mind, our favourite Geordie has put toegther a collection of designer shoes, with amazing heels that should be comfortable to wear. The collection, which can be viewed and bought at www.stylistpick.com features shoes for different occasions, and range from red carpet events, to office wear and casual weekend apparel.
Those people who may be surprised at the amount of differing styles are in for a shock, as Cheryl herself says, “I think people were expecting just a handful of heels made in different ways, but that’s not what I’m about. I wanted each girl to have something she could relate to, whatever she does, or however she feels. We’re all different, we all have different jobs. I really do feel that there is something for everyone here.’ Cheryl’s range of shoes are priced from £79.90 to £119.85 and there are eight pairs in the range of which she describes them as ‘killer shoes that don’t kill your feet.’
In an interview with Grazia magazine recently, she told them, “I have a pair of Louboutins that are so cripplingly painful – but I’m trying to ease myself into them gently, wearing them for a few minutes every now and again.” Cheryl has been involved in all the stages of designing the shoes which includes sourcing the high quality fabrications and finishes, choosing the leather uppers and the soft leather linings which combine special comfort features. Speaking for the website – Stylistpick.com said, “The launch marks (Cheryl’s) first entry into design. From being involved at all stages in the process, from details like toe shapes and embellishments, to the packaging itself, Cheryl even created names for each style and colourway.’
Indeed, the names Cheryl selected may show an insight into her personal likes and background. For instance, the boots are called Byker Grove, which are obviously inspired by the children’s Geordie TV show. The leopard-print trimmed stiletto boots are named Ri Ri, after her girl crush on Rihanna, and a pair of studded heels are supposedly named after Pippa Middleton as they are called Your Royal Hotness. There does not seem to be any reference to the X Factor however, in her collection which is probably just as well as Cheryl says that shoes hold memories for her.
Here is Cheryl Cole’s Collection.
