Sophie Hulme New Designer Tote Bags

Sophie Hulme is a name synonymous with high-end, quality fashion and now the new British designer has now designed a range of gorgeous tote bags, exclusive to Selfridges. Instantly recognisable by their gold plaques, they are made from 100% leather and are being snapped up by the classiest of shopper. We have featured some of the best styles to give you a heads up on what to expect from the collection.

Sophie Hulme Double Plate Tote Bag – £490.00

This bag is available in nude (pictured) or tan. Key features include the brass plates which surround the handles, and the very rectangular boxy shape combined with a hollow interior. The bag has two rolled leather top handles and a separate detachable shoulder strap. There is no fastening at the top of the bag. All the metal hardware is brass, and the bag is embellished with a signature padlock with two keys. This bag is the largest of the three. The measurements of the bag are height: 42.5cm / 16.5″, width: 36cm / 14.1″, depth: 13cm / 5.1″ (approx)

Sophie Hulme Single Plate Tote Bag – £490.00

This bag is available in black or tan. It is similar in style to the bag above, except it has a single brass plate surrounding the base of the handles. It is also a little smaller than the bag above (the pictures are not to scale – check the measurements).

This bag also has a detachable leather shoulder strap and two leather top handles, and the bag does not fasten and the interior is hollow, with a slip pocket.

The measurements of the bag are height: 37cm / 14.6″, width: 32.5cm / 12.8″, depth: 11.5cm / 4.5″  (approx)

Sophie Hulme Double Zips Tote Bag – £580.00

This bag is available in red only and is almost perfectly square in shape. It features brass plate embellishment around the bases of the handles, but unlike the other two bags described above, this bag has two zip fastening compartments. It also has an open compartment which is useful for just slipping bits and pieces into. I particularly like the bright red colour of this bag. This bag is the smallest of the three.

This bag also as a removable shoulder strap and two rolled leather top handles. It also has a padlock.
