Katie Holmes smoulders in new campaign for jeweler H.Stern’s Iris Collection

For the actress who once had aspirations to be a model, I’d say she should perhaps think about giving up her day job. Katie Holmes, seen here in a selection of stunning campaign shots from the latest H.Stern jewellery collection, has literally gone from strength to strength since she divorced Hollywood A Lister Tom Cruise.

As the world looked on in shock, we have watched as this determined young woman has transformed herself from a quiet housewife, to a confident and sexy working mother. It seems that barely a year ago Ms Holmes announced to the world that she wanted to divorce Hollywood’s leading man.

Then followed accusations that it was Tom Cruise’s dedication to Scientology that was to blame, with Katie desperately worried that daughter Suri would be enrolled in a school that specialised in the religions teachings. As more news was revealed, it seemed that the plans to ‘escape’ from Tom had taken an almost M15 status, as reports of separate mobile phones were leaked, and family members confessed they had been none the wiser to Katie’s plans.

Fast forward a year and the dust has settled, both Tom and Katie appear to be happy and have moved on, concentrating on their respective careers, and their beautiful daughter. But for one of the couple, the light is shining particularly brightly, as we can see from these promotional shots.

34 year old Katie positively oozes sexual chemistry as she glams it up, in barely a swimsuit and a pout, as she poses wearing the high end jewellery makers H.Stern’s new ocean inspired collection Iris.

The campaign features Katie looking seductive and founder Robert Stern was certain who he wanted to front the new collection: “In Brazil she’s been hard to miss and the posters are quite a head-turner. Katie is the perfect choice for our latest collection. She’s beautiful, stylish, has great taste and sincere integrity. Of course, Katie is also the ideal choice because she represents our target group in general. Young, successful and ambitious.”

H.Stern looked to the ocean this time to create his latest range of jewellery, but other collections have been inspired by celestial beings, people and earthly treasures. To create this ocean based range of jewellery, Stern examined the drawings of marine life that the ground breaking expedition HMS Challenger recorded, back in 1873.

The expedition at the time was one of the first of its kind and traveled over 68,000 nautical miles, managing to reveal undiscovered species of marine life .

Stern named this beautiful collection Iris after the Greek goddess Iris, who was famed for traveling in the depths of the oceans and moved with the speed of the wind. The shoot however, was not captured at an oceans edge, but in a Brooklyn studio, and Katie’s sultry looks were captured by celebrity photographer Tom Munro.

The new Iris jewellery collection from H.Stern is available to purchase later this month.
