Stella McCartney Reinvents Evening-wear With New Collection
Stella McCartney has certainly made her mark on the fashion world, but for her new evening-wear collection, she has definitely thrown out the rule book and reinvented her very own style guide. With sweeping the floor bodycon gowns, and daring lurid orange jump suits, who knew the girl had it in her? Stella says, “I think it was really important for me to design pieces that reflected the attitude of London, the sense of humour of the British, and the fact that they don’t really care what people think.” Well she has achieved that in her latest of offbeat collections; so think monochromes and cut away gowns, tuxedo jackets and feminine prints and gorgeous textures.
